中国新护照申请指南：外国人篇

Manyforeigners in China have their passports expire during their stay.After applying for a new passport, they fail to handle subsequentissues in accordance with relevant regulations, which leads topenalties and the creation of a bad record. The impact of a badrecord on foreigners working and studying in China is enormous, withthe application failure rate approaching 100%. I hope everyone paysattention to this issue.

太多外国人在中国期间护照到期，申请更新护照后没有按照相关规定处理后续问题，导致被罚留下不良记录，不良记录对外国人在华工作和留学的影响是巨大的，申请失败率接近100%，希望大家注意这方面的问题。

Accordingto the regulations of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau,foreigners need to apply for a change of residence permit within 10days of obtaining a new passport. If they exceed the time limit, theywill be treated as overstaying and a bad record will be left.

按照出入境管理局的规定，外国人拿到新护照10天内需要申请居留许可的护照变更，如果超时将按照逾期居留处理并留下不良记录。

Applicantsneed to apply for a passport change certificate from their consulateand mark the date of receipt; update the temporary accommodationregistration form to the new passport number; submit a changeapplication for the residence permit to the Exit-Entry AdministrationBureau.

申请人需要向本国领事馆申请护照变更证明并标注领取日期；更新临时住宿登记单至新护照号码；向出入境管理局递交居留许可变更申请。

1.If there is a change in the reason for residence, passport number, orholder of a residence permit, an application for a new residencepermit should be made to the issuing authority within 10 days.

1.居留许可持有人的居留原因、护照号码、行人等发生变化的，应当在10日内向居留许可签发机关申请新的居留许可。

2.If there is a change in the address, educational institution, or theunit of employment or work of the holder of a residence permit, anapplication for change should be made to the issuing authority within10 days.

2.居留许可持有人的地址、就读院校、任职或者就业单位发生变更的，应当在10日内向居留许可签发机关申请变更。

3.When moving from one city to another, an application for change canbe made to the exit-entry administration institution of the publicsecurity organ of the place where they move out or move in.

3.从一个城市迁往另一个城市的，可以向迁出地或者迁入地公安机关出入境管理机构申请变更。
