如果要给红遍全球的华人巨星排个序，我相信前三之内，李小龙必定榜上有名。李小龙当年在国际上有多火呢？美国喜剧演员艾迪·葛瑞芬举了个例子。他说有一次自己去露天影院看电影，当时两块屏幕上同时播放着两部电影：一部是带颜色的片子，另一部是李小龙演的《精武门》。
李小龙已逝世多年，但他的影响仍然还在；他的传说，仍然在世界上流传。他逝世后，还被美国时代杂志选为“21世纪20大偶像人物”之一。在不少外国人心目中的功夫就是中国武术，李小龙也成了功夫的化身。在李小龙的影响下，不少西方人以为中国人个个都会功夫，甚至远来中国学武。俗话说，惺惺相惜。
