Scruple comes from scrupulus, a Latin word for a small stone or pebble. Historically, a scruple was also an old apothecaries’ measurement equal to 1/24th of an ounce . 在湖北省,也有一个叫做“一炷香”的著名景点,不过它并不是真正的“香”,而是一根巨大的石柱。这根石柱位于湖北恩施的大峡谷中,直径只有4米左右,高度却达到了150米,相当于50层楼那么高,远远望去,就像是平地里“长”出了一根香一样,所以被人们形象地称为“一炷香”。
