w.c在一些城市的厕所门上，经常会见到“w.c”的标志。那么，“w.c”表示的是什么意思呢？原来，在过去西方国家的厕所里，普遍性的都设有水箱（water closet），西方人一提到厕所自然就想到了水箱，因此水箱（watercloset）就成了厕所的代名词。
