The seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar， or Qixi， is renowned as Chinese Valentine's day， which is closely linked to the beautiful legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. As one of the four major Chinese folktales， it has been passed down in various forms in life for thousands of years， contained in emotions， and become an intangible cultural heritage.
Houyi Shooting the Suns is an exciting story. There were ten suns in the sky， which made the earth very hot. Houyi shot down nine suns with his bow and arrow， saving the people. This story shows the courage and wisdom of the ancient people.
The tradition of Qixi dates back 2，000 years ago. In ancient China， the textile industry had long served as a pillar industry. So， we worshiped the celestial goddess Zhinyu on Qixi.
