近日，比尔盖茨在接受美国自由网媒体记者采访的时候说道:目前全球新冠确诊人数已经突破6亿，这将导致世界上很多国家深陷疫情泥潭中无法自拔，不是所有国家都能像中国那样完美抗疫的，只要疫情存在一天，世界就会一直处于乌烟瘴气之中。
从年初预告到现在，千呼万唤，阿信今天终于可以官宣惹:比尔·盖茨又在我们家——出!头两本分别是1995年的《未来之路》和1999年的《未来时速》，从“智能手机”到“移动互联”，盖茨列出的16条预言，在随后的十多年时间里全都一一应验。
为此比尔盖茨做出解释称，因为气候变化每年死去的人比疫情大流行时期要更多，并且在2014年时的一次演讲中称，全世界还没有为一次疫情大流行做好准备，比尔盖茨在回应德里克·亚历山大对此前演讲中担忧的事实已经发生时称:that there were small earthquakes all the time or the history of fire， war or hurricanes， but these pandemics come so irregularly that people are “lulled into a sense of security”. It's almost as if it won't come for the next few years， so “why should we put our money into that”， he added. “This one will help us understand that it has to be a priority.”
