本文在分析体系工程过程模型及其不足的基础上，借鉴MBSE思想，把能力作为体系需求分析、设计和验证评估的不变量，以架构及架构原型作为勾连体系工程各项活动成果的抓手，提出一种体系工程过程环模型，并从时间、能力、架构3个角度对过程环模型进行了分析。
