March of the Volunteers is the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China. It adequately expresses the staunch and unyielding character of the Chinese people. The line “The Chinese people face a time of their greatest peril” alerts them to remain vigilant against danger in times of peace and to guard and build the country unceasingly.

有不少国家都会出现两个势均力敌而又暗中较劲的大城市，上演一部连绵多年的双城记——比如西班牙的马德里和巴塞罗那，澳大利亚的墨尔本和悉尼，日本的东京和大阪，意大利的罗马和米兰……尽管在巴黎人眼里，其他地区的法国人都是外省人，但马赛作为法国第二大城市，总想和巴黎较较劲。
