在中国古典四大名著中，《西游记》是受到民间百姓各阶层共同喜爱的一部作品。沙僧是故事中唐僧西天取经队伍中的一员，虽然角色分量远不如孙悟空、唐僧和猪八戒，但也在很多剧情中扮演了重要角色，推动了故事情节发展。
王者荣耀这周的皮肤已经正式确定，就是金蝉的唐三藏皮肤，而不出意外的话，西游系列皮肤应该暂时就会告一段落了，毕竟按照官方之前公布的海报，所有的皮肤已经都出完了，分别是孙悟空的孙行者、猪八戒的猪悟能、金蝉的唐三藏、公孙离的玉兔公主和 甄姬的女儿国国王。但大家可能也都发现了，西游记师徒4人，算上白龙马的话则是师徒5人，为何还缺少一些角色呢?

Monkey I could not bring myself to drop. I regretted not being able to use Pigsy， but Pig was fine and I think I preferred Friar Sand to Waley's Sandy， which makes him a wee bit Scottish. Sanzang was not ideal for the general reader of English， but then， neither was Waley's Tripitaka.
