朋友更是这样，如果你不信任你的朋友，你会觉得生活是空洞的、虚假的，无力的，甚至是令人绝望的，相互在一起，彼此提防，说话没有真心，虚情假意，更不会为了友情去牺牲自己，在一起彼此带着虚假的面具，这样的生活是令人难以想象的。
比如说某件好事发生了，你却担心讲出来，因为你感觉到如果有什么好事发生，说出来后快乐会被抢走，甚至会出现以下场景:“You sort of tell them half-heartedly that something happened to you. And then they give you a whack and then they talk about great thing that happened to them three years ago， or even worse， great thing that happened to someone they knew three years ago.”
