穆斯林的斋月指伊斯兰历的第九个月，阿拉伯语叫“拉马丹”。该月名字意为“禁月”，是穆斯林教徒进行斋戒的一个月，是真主安拉Allah将《古兰经》下降给穆罕默德圣人的月份。斋月的起止时间以新月初现为准，由于看到新月初现的时间不一，故不同的伊斯兰国家进入斋月的时间也不完全不一样。
