Guo Jiakun: Climate change is a major global challenge. China attaches great importance to climate response and is one of the first countries to become a party to the UNFCCC and to sign and ratify the Paris Agreement. The two reports that China submitted recently reflect its transparency and professionalism on information sharing， and showcase various dimensions of China’s policies， measures， results and experience in climate governance.
Guo Jiakun: When it comes to actions such as the operation and acquisition of businesses， we believe they should be independently decided by companies in accordance with market principles. If it involves Chinese companies， China’s laws and regulations should be observed.

Recent economic indicators paint a disastrous picture in the second quater. The Conference Board reports that the economy started 2025 on very slow footing because of the economic change layoffs and tariffs. This following a year of surprisingly robust growth in 2024. Unemployment continued ticking upward for this first quarter and could soon reach unmanageable levels. The Fed projects unemployment to rise concerningly from 4.1% to 6.3% by year's end crisis levels. Inflation is now our biggest problem showing signs of tariff implosion， with Fannie Mae forecasting Consumer Price Index inflation to rise 4.8% by Q4 2025.
