探究中国金融的起源：追溯到我国古代的市井生活，主要是铜钱、布帛等货币交换。在我国这个拥有五千年文明史的古老国度，金融的起源可以追溯到何时呢？古代金融的发展可追溯到商周时期，当时主要使用贝壳、铜钱等物品作为货币。随着社会的发展，货币的形式也逐渐多样化，出现了银、金、纸币等形式。
商文明起源对许多人来说是一个终极问题，对中国早期具有学术兴趣的人如此，对那些受到商艺术或商文明其他方面的吸引的人们也是如此。由于商人起源在很大程度上就是中国文明的起源，我们有理由认为商人起源问题不只有一般的重要性。
