Capybaras are social animals and are known to build relationships with other animals. Capybaras like to stay on their own， but if human or other animals try to approach them， they will never run away and will interact with them， even with large and fierce animals such as crocodiles and gorillas.
水豚，是现存最大的啮齿目动物，体长可达1.3米，体重上百斤。除了大，水豚同时也是动物界著名的交际花，和很多动物都相处得其乐融融，就算是鳄鱼，也能和它愉快地玩耍。水豚以水草为食，排泄物为半消化状态的水草，水豚经常会把自己的便便再吃回去，进一步消化吸收，同时回收肠道微生物。
