首先 Pr应该是应用最广泛的专业视频剪辑软件之一了，Pr 的全称是Premiere，提供了采集、剪辑、调色、美化音频、字幕添加、输出DVD 刻录的一整套流程，足以完成在编辑、制作等视频类工作流上遇到的所有挑战PR 能被广泛的使用，除本身使用的便捷性之外，还在于它是 Adobe 公司出品的，机遇类似的编程逻辑这些软件能够交互使用，形成了一个生态，互相赋能，这个生态就像苹果的生态一样，很多人因为各种设备都是苹果，后期会不习惯使用其他的系统。
ps诞生与发展:ps创始人之一Thomas Knoll最初编写了一个叫做Display的程序，哥哥John Knoll 重新编写了Display的代码，使程序具备了羽化、色彩调整和颜色校正功能，并可以读取各种文件格式，两兄弟在此后的一年多的时间里对Display不断修改，使其图形图像处理功能变了愈发强大。
