In 1472， Wang Yangming was born in Yuyao County， Zhejiang Province. It was a legend that before his birth， his grandmother dreamed that a fairy had delivered a baby to her in a colorful cloud. Therefore， his grandfather named him Wang Yun ， but he could not speak at the age of four.
