9 月 28 日，Hindawi 官方宣布重磅消息，经诚信团队研究发现一些论文受同行评语被操纵的迹象，已经暂停了对涉及「可能受到损害」的个人的稿件进行审查和制作，并开始对这些稿件进行评估，计划撤回 16 家期刊的 511 篇论文!
2019年5月，西安交通大学第一附属医院在Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research期刊上在线发表题为“Long non-coding RNA AGAP2-AS1， functioning as a competitive endogenous RNA， upregulates ANXA11 expression by sponging miR-16-5p and promotes proliferation and metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma”的论文。
2017年11月，浙江大学药学院在Drug Delivery期刊上在线发表题为 “Sialic acid-modified solid lipid nanoparticles as vascular endothelium-targeting carriers for ischemia-reperfusion-induced acute renal injury” 的论文。
今年4月，国际著名学术出版集团施普林格旗下期刊 Multimedia Tools and Applications 批量撤销33篇论文，加上该期刊近两年撤下的另8篇论文，总共有41篇，其中39篇论文的主要作者来自中国。
曾遭11名学生联合举报的华中农业大学原教授黄飞若，近期遭多家国际级刊物撤稿。近日，多家生物学学术媒体发布消息，关注黄飞若团队多篇文章被撤稿消息。澎湃新闻记者查询发现，公开信息显示，截至12月10日，黄飞若团队被撤的期刊文章至少有4篇。
2023年7月24日，期刊发布撤稿声明撤回本文:“在这篇文章发表后，一位关心的读者提请编辑部注意，图2E所示的流式细胞术图像与下图2D中已经以不同形式提交发表的流式细胞术数据惊人地相似，这篇文章是Chang K， Wei Z and Cao H: miR3753p inhibits the progression of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma by targeting hepatocyte nuclear factor1β. Oncol Lett 20: 80， 2020]。
2019年6月，哈尔滨医科大学附属第一医院在Molecular Therapy - Nucleic Acids 期刊在线发表题为“Knockdown of KCNQ1OT1 Suppresses Cell Invasion and Sensitizes Osteosarcoma Cells to CDDP by Upregulating DNMT1-Mediated Kcnq1 Expression”的论文。
2020年6月，温州医科大学在CNS Neuroscience & Therapeutics期刊上在线发表题为”Allopregnanolone restores the tyrosine hydroxylase‐positive neurons and motor performance in a 6‐OHDA‐injected mouse model” 的论文。
