自强不息，英文怎么说；天人合一，英文怎么讲；温柔敦厚，英文怎么翻……即便在英、美生活多年的华人学者，也未必知道如何用英语正确解读这些“中华思想文化术语”。如今，经过“中华思想文化术语传播工程”的整理、传播，300多个“中华思想文化术语”终于有了标准的英译。
近日，“中华思想文化术语传播工程”第二批术语对外发布，对“止戈为武”“自强不息”等反映中华传统文化特征与思维方式的核心术语，作出了简明的中文释义和英文翻译。今天，“微言教育”继续向大家亮出这些词语，我们一起学习吧。
这些术语反映了中国传统文化特征和民族思维方式，体现了中国核心价值，编写者用易于口头表达、交流的简练语言客观准确地予以诠释，目的是在政府机构、社会组织、传播媒体等对外交往活动中，传播好中国声音，讲好中国故事，让世界更多了解中国国情、历史和文化。
