由国务院新闻办公室、西藏自治区人民政府共同主办的“2023·中国西藏发展论坛”5月23日在北京举行。来自多个国家和地区的政府官员、专家学者、媒体记者围绕“新时代、新西藏、新征程——西藏高质量发展与人权保障的新篇章”这一主题进行研讨。
据澎湃新闻报道 （记者 岳怀让）2023年10月4日至6日，第三届中国西藏“环喜马拉雅”国际合作论坛在中国西藏林芝举行。值得注意的是，在论坛的翻译过程中，“西藏”的英文翻译不再延用“Tibet”，而是采用汉语拼音“Xizang”进行翻译。
在游览途中，学习西藏的历史文化后，他们激动地表示:“我爱西藏!”A group of international teachers and students from 12 countries， including the UK， US and Mongolia， visited the Potala Palace in Lhasa， SW China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Thursday. During the visit， after learning Xizang's history and culture， they excitedly said “I love Xizang!”

In response to inquiry on remarks made by the so-called “Tibetan government-in-exile”， Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday that the so-called “Tibetan government-in-exile” is a pure separatist political group and recognized by no country in the world. “We are fully aware and vigilant about the group's separatist nature and political agenda.”
